Rest the watch dial-down on a soft cloth, compress the spring bars with the tool to release the old strap, insert the spring bars into the new strap, seat them in the case lugs on both sides, then pull gently to check there is no play.

Standard shipping is free on every order of 2 straps or more, and a tracking number is emailed as soon as the order ships. Lost parcels are reshipped or fully refunded, damaged items are replaced after emailing a photo to hello@watchcollab.com, and non-sale items can be refunded within 14 days of the order date.

2. What we collect.

Identity and contact data: name, email address, postal address, telephone number.
Order data: items ordered, amounts, order history, delivery and returns information.
Payment data: handled by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
Technical data: IP address, device, browser, pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Communications: the messages you send us and our replies.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis.

To perform our contract with you — processing and delivering your order, handling withdrawals, returns, refunds and the legal guarantee, and answering your questions about an order.
To comply with legal obligations — keeping accounting and transaction records for the periods required by law.
With your consent — marketing emails and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of what we did before.
For our legitimate interests — preventing fraud and abuse, keeping the site secure, and improving our products and service. We balance these against your rights and you may object at any time.

4. Who we share it with. We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers we need in order to run the store: Shopify (hosting and store platform), our payment providers, our carriers DHL and La Poste for delivery, our review and email tools, and our professional advisers where necessary. Each acts on our instructions or under its own responsibility as controller where the law says so. We may also disclose data where required by law.

5. International transfers. We are established in the United Arab Emirates, which is not the subject of an adequacy decision by the European Commission, and our providers may process data in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and the United States. Where personal data leaves the EEA, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards — in particular the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses — together with additional technical and organisational measures. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards in place.

6. How long we keep it. Order and transaction data are kept for as long as needed to fulfil the order and then for the retention periods required by applicable accounting, tax and consumer-protection law. Customer-service correspondence is kept for up to 3 years after our last exchange. Marketing data are kept until you withdraw your consent. Cookie data are kept for the lifetimes set out in our cookie banner.

7. Your rights. Where the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you have given. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection supervisory authority of the EU country where you live, work, or where you believe a breach occurred.

8. Cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site and your cart working and do not require consent. Analytics, personalisation and marketing cookies are only placed after you consent through our cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time from that banner or from our Your Privacy Choices page.

9. Security. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Card data is encrypted in transit and our payment providers are PCI-DSS compliant. No system is perfectly secure, but we notify you and the competent authority where the law requires it.

10. Children. Our store is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 without parental consent, and we delete such data if we become aware of it.
