2. Protect your watch — rest it dial-down on a soft cloth to avoid scratches.
3. Find the spring bars where the strap meets the case.
4. Compress the spring bar with the tool to release the old strap; repeat on the other side.
5. Insert the spring bars into the new strap, then seat them in the case lugs on both sides.
6. Pull gently to check it holds — there should be no play.
